Welcome to Bed & Bones, where caring for pets is what we do!

First, everyone should know that we are definitely pet lovers! When visiting our home, people are greeted by our saluki dogs, cats and horses. Our pets are part of our daily lives and are considered family!

Over the years, several other pets have shared a home with us including a large iguana, a 17 pound chicken, 2 yorkies, siamese and manx cats, a black and a yellow Labrador, finches, many box turtles, a bottle fed chipmunk, and 2 litter trained rabbits. We decided that since our home has always been a safe haven for animals that Bed & Bones would be the perfect business for us to open!

I have been caring for animals for more than 40 years. We raise Salukis a rare and wonderful breed originating in the Middle East, but I have a heart for all dogs and cats as well! We have participated in animal rescue and are advocates for proper animal treatment. I have been a receptionist at an animal hospital for 22 years and I am a member of the Saluki Club of America, American Sauki Association, and the Society for the Perpetuation of Desert Bred Salukis.  I enjoy showing my dogs as much as I enjoy relaxing with them on the couch. They are like family to me and I plan to treat each guest as I treat my own.
